What:
Free English classes for adults who speak English as a Second or Other Language (ESOL). This class will be concentrating on speaking and listening in real-life situations you will encounter as you are living in Tallahassee, Florida. We will learn through playing games together and other activities that will encourage students to communicate, as well as through more traditional instruction in grammar and vocabulary.
I will also challenge any returning or more advanced students with projects that will let you express yourselves in creative ways. These may include giving PowerPoint presentations or making a creative video (with easy to use video cameras and editing software that I will provide). We may put some of these up on this web site and/or YouTube (but only if you want to!)
I like to use technology in teaching and own a projector with DVD that I can hook up to my computer for presentations, as well as to watch and discuss TV shows (with subtitles) and YouTube videos.

Classes meet in the community center near the tennis courts
When:
Classes meet on Sundays during the Fall and Spring semester, from 4:00PM – 6:00PM. Here is a list of all dates for the Fall 2011 semester. There is a chance the teacher may have to cancel a class due to sickness or scheduling conflicts, but these times should be rare:
